🔪 Wiha 43090 Universal Razor Edged Scraper: An Effective Tool with Wiha SoftFinish Handle Review

I like the feel of the handle but I'd like a protective cap so you don't have to constantly remove the blade. Also, the blade's attachment, which tries to screw tight, seems a little off and not as smooth as I'd like.

Blades too big. Does not fit in the instrument. EIO sellers charge a $6.97 restocking fee for a non-working item. They then also removed my negative seller rating. The blades didn't fit. I ordered the same tool from another seller and this blade fits.

Well made and feels good in the hand. The blades are sharp and well thought out. If the scraper has a one-sided edge, it will dig into and scratch the surface, but the symmetrical edge will rise above what you are scratching. These blades have a small bevel on one side and offer the best of both worlds.

Nice to see it's made in Germany and not far away Asia like some Wiha instruments are now. But I was surprised to find grease oozing out of the socket that held the blade and the nut attached to it. Washes easily enough but not what you expect from the packaging. Functional looks very good.

This is the only knife capable of loosening seals from the engine. I used it on my Suzuki gz250. Works great. You will also need blade #43095. Be careful, it is very sharp so you need to know how to hold it when using it on soft metal. This is the best knife I've ever used. I learned it in Japan.

I work for UPS as a mover and tear off 8-12 shipping labels per box packed, sometimes 1000 boxes a night! So when I say I tested this tool, it's a fact! This tool just saved my life including my nails! Lies comfortably in the hand, removes these labels gently. Now all my colleagues want it. Great job Wiha for making this tool! I love it!

Nothing to say, I have used this item to clean plastic after cutting it with cutting discs and it has worked very well. I like it more than using an X-Acto knife as the blade is stronger than the one I have but still very sharp and the handle is more comfortable. The bad one seems well made, perfect angle and edge. I'm not sure if they make other blades for this, but it would be nice if they did. I think you will be lucky if you need such a tool.
