Well I had a standard white classic controller. I didn't like him very much. It worked well but was uncomfortable in the hands. It's weird because I grew up watching NES, Genesis and Saturn, so it wasn't just the lack of grips that was weird. But now they pretty much fixed all the design issues and made it perfect.
