Very good product in the field of car electronics

The only problem I have is that the automatic brightness control does not work properly. I need it light during the day and dark at night. In general this is a good product.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year

Nice digital display

Nice display for older cars that don't have digital displays. I didn't even know it existed. Good size, not too big to obstruct the view. Ease of installation. Worked great on a 2002 Montero and matched the fairing well.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Fits Mark 4 VW Beetle

Great for VW Mark 4 Beetle. The Mark 4 Beetle has no temperature gauge other than a high temperature gauge. I tried to connect via Bluetooth but they kept disconnecting. That works every time. There are a number of screen options, but I wanted to keep an eye on the coolant temperature.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Not a bad machine. - Car video

Not a bad device. The clock only shows 24 hours, which is annoying at times. I had to calibrate the speedometer function with a Garmin GPS. Adjusy's default speed is 107%, I set it to 102% which is still about 1/4 mph behind actual speed. OBDII does not work on 2006 and older GM cars and trucks. You have to use GPS mode, which loses a lot of functionality.

Pros
  • Very good quality

Digital Speedometer

I bought this for my 2007 Avalanche. He has an old speedometer. My new cars have a digital speedometer. I'm so used to digitization that I sometimes struggled to read the instruction manual at a glance. Sometimes it seems to deviate a mile or two. Other times it's dead. A little awkward, but I like it nonetheless. I liked it so much that I bought another 2004 Toyota for my daughters.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction

Inexpensive, reliable, great for those who want to keep track of old cars

I had no trouble connecting to my 2001 Toyota Solara. Completely plug and play. It might not have all the bells and whistles that devices over $45 have, but if you want to follow the basics and read and clear codes, this is for you. Also, there is no need to buy a metering unit and you have the option to change the orientation of the screen, making installing one of these units on your dash carrier very easy. Although the graphics are simple, the text is much easier to read in direct sunlight…

  • Great for me

Excellent for 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2.

Works great for 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2. Remember it doesn't need constant monitoring. The coolant and voltage alert settings are great! The auto-off setting feels nice and feels adjustable, as detailed in the manual. This will skip the booking step and the OBD scan tool. I see there are options to read OBD codes + erase. Basically it is an obd2 diagnostic reader for generic codes common to all obds. Bonus: It even measures engine oil temperature! The third element to track upon landing.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some cons

Need some changes to be five stars.

I really like the attachment point, but the connector makes it difficult to press firmly against the windshield. This item was not compatible with my 2005 GMC Safari Van. The description says "US vehicles built in 2004 and later". There is no "DIR" (direction) menu item in the GPS menu and the vehicle's direction of travel is not displayed on any of the GPS screens. I saw the direction indicator when I first turned it on, but never again; Just a message that my OBD2 port is not compatible. The…

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Engine coolant temperature shows inaccurate information

I purchased this engine coolant temperature monitor on my 2004 Discovery 2. Unfortunately, the coolant temperature was not displayed accurately. Most of the time the coolant temp went up to 197 degrees and stalled every time, never going up or down. I have a separate OBD reader and can say that this unit did not read the temperature accurately and was too low when it got stuck at 197 degrees. After resetting the unit more than 5 times, the coolant temp read correctly and fluctuated as it should

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Minor issues
