I purchased this engine coolant temperature monitor on my 2004 Discovery 2. Unfortunately, the coolant temperature was not displayed accurately. Most of the time the coolant temp went up to 197 degrees and stalled every time, never going up or down. I have a separate OBD reader and can say that this unit did not read the temperature accurately and was too low when it got stuck at 197 degrees. After resetting the unit more than 5 times, the coolant temp read correctly and fluctuated as it should until I turned off the car and encountered the same problem on the next drive. It's not reliable enough for me to control the temperature in the field. I have since purchased an UltraGauge and have had no problems.
