Probably the best book on needlework I have ever seen. It gives you lots of beautiful examples, lots of ideas, and lots of templates, and then invites you to do things your way, although you can copy their design if you like. I love all the information and all the great projects for inspiration. As I'm just starting out with appliqué I don't know if this book will be as good for more experienced appliqué artists, but I know it's the perfect book for me.

This book is finally here! We'll all be busy making these beauties. Wendy is SO creative and I'm jumping from project to project. I'm 90% done with Birds on the Wire (which I'll be teaching at a quilt shop in Bend, Oregon in June) and am collecting identical fabrics for two table runners - I'm making 3 of each for Christmas gifts.
