This phone is designed to look like old phones in my house accent color. absolutely love it. The sound quality of a phone call is high compared to our modern mobile phones. I bought this phone because I was forced to get a landline again and I'll be damned if I don't make the phone as stylish and classy as possible . I picked this phone hoping the yellow was more mustard than light yellow and I'm happy to report that it was. A little trivial, but still. I hesitated, thinking the clear plastic around the number keys would be brittle, but no, the plastic is nice and tough and protects the numbers well. Nice phone. Works as it should. The yellow is darker and slightly mustard yellow than in the picture (probably just my computer monitor needs color calibration). My only complaint is that the ringer cannot be turned off or down and the ringer is quite loud. So I can't use it in the bedroom as planned. There is a receiver volume switch on the bottom - NORM & HIGH, which is useless as the caller is almost inaudible on the normal setting, but the HIGH setting is good and callers sound clear.
