An introduction to safety razors at a great price.

Haven't used a safety razor since the 80's but nostalgic for the experience ordered one based on the overall positive reviews and great price. The included blades are very sharp and give a very close shave - much closer than any 'modern' multi-blade razor I've used in the last 20 years. I have used Personna blades to test this razor, I know these blades work very well with my Edwin Jagger, Merkur and Rockwell razors. works very well for me, I can compare very well how this razor shaves. Great razor for beginners!

Like many others, I bought this razor because it was cheap and I wanted to buy a cheap safety razor to decide if wet shaving was right for me or not. I knew two things beforehand: I needed a closed comb and a razor with a butterfly opening (one piece).
