Good L-key for the price

I need such a L-key to loosen the drill chuck from the drill quill/spindle. Try to find this type of key at your local store. The wrench from this brand seems to be of quite high quality and the price was reasonable. Make sure you order the correct key size. You need to check both the wrench size (the diameter of the pillar you wrap the wrench around) and the pin size (width and depth). Happy with the purchase of an instrument that I will use every few years.

Pros
  • Specially developed for the toughest industrial use
Cons
  • I will add later

Old fashioned US quality

Superb workmanship and top quality resulting in a price that may not be reasonable for those who don't appreciate US made tools. For me, the barometer is the price of petrol. If the cost difference between an American tool and a cheap import is less than a few gallons of gas, then it's a no-brainer - I'll buy an American one. If more, I lend or rent the instrument if possible. This key works great and is definitely a keeper. I use it to service the flexible shafts of concrete vibrators.

Pros
  • Ideal for adjusting rings, locknuts and bearings.
Cons
  • Not Sure
