Great leads for power, meter, signal generator, etc.

You will never run out of test leads with banana plugs on one end and alligator clips on the other ;-) I have several sets of these and find them indispensable in the lab. I mainly use them to connect my lab bench power supply and DVM to the circuits I'm working on. They do one thing, and one thing only, very well.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Perfect General Jumpers

Big enough (18ha) for home appliances, small enough for most electronic inspections. Good big strong clamps that are firmly attached to the jumper wire. I expect this to last as long as I die. By then, energy transfer through quantum entanglement will have been perfected. But right now, the real god particle is an electron, and it needs connecting wires.

These are good crocodile wires

I bought these and cut the crocodile wires to about 10" wire to solder to my homemade HVAC junction box. I use them several times a week for terminal connections. The crocodile lines are fairly open but not too bulky on my jump box. I have the other half of the lines for when I need to fix my jump box, but so far I've been using them for a few months and none of them have broken.

excellent professional duty

I like different colors. good clips, flexible cables. they work very well for me. I bought the smaller ones (1/4 alligator style) cheaper and they just come rolled up in plastic sleeves. this made it difficult for me to open and attach them. There is no roll-up cover in this version. Spring pressure is good, holds up well. This is important if you have to climb a ladder to attach it and climb again when it comes off. very professional level IMHO.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad but...

I trust them with my life

These were much better grips than I expected for the money. Clamps provide a strong connection with good continuity. I use them when discharging CRT monitors where I could potentially be exposed to hundreds and even thousands of volts of current and I have every reason to believe that they give me a full anode to ground connection even with the screwdriver move everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. I check for continuity throughout the process and that's always a good thing. I also like to have…

Good alternative to the usual cheap test leads

I work in the technical area with two technicians besides me. We always got our test leads mixed up. I took these clues first because they're not like all the others. They are way better than regular leads. Bigger clips, thicker wire and already soldered. Trouble is, the other two techs love them so much they can order them for themselves! More precise work when soldering wires to terminals. However, they are absolutely correct. I plan to buy another set so I have two of each color.

  • Trial period for one year
