Better than FireStick

I've had Wilson and Firestick antennas on my SUV and I like Wilson a lot more than the others. Excellent reception and flexibility without a spring is outstanding. I would buy this product again without reservation

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

That was the solution for me

At high SWR I started to give up. I used it to replace the 2 inch fire rod I installed on the FJ Cruiser. I couldn't get an SWR below 3. After taking it straight out of the box, my SWR is 1.5 on all 40 channels. Very glad it fixed my problems.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • some little things

I'm disappointed, everything else Wilson does is top notch.

I ordered two. One for each truck at work. The second never appeared and the first didn't work. Got a replacement and sent the first one back. It works, but not great. I'm shocked it's Wilson. The second never showed up, and I was still accused of "not returning" it. Never again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Off-road CB antenna

I still really like these Wilson flexible CB antennas. Very easy to set up, especially with the extra ground wire. "Guys," they say, "the transmission doesn't get as far as with a fixed antenna." Well, that may be true. But if your antenna is broken in half by low gaps or trees and bushes, guess how much you're transmitting: zero.

  • Few competitors

Good First of all I bought this Wilson with the intention of making an LED whip antenna for my golf cart. I used to sell CBs and accessories and the Wilson Flex was one of our most requested antennas. The fact that you don't actually need a spring is amazing, unlike other fiberglass antennas which don't bend and tend to break at the base. I made my antenna with RGB LEDs and transparent heat shrink tubing, also bought from Amazon. The amount of springs and bends on this antenna is incredible…

Wilson "Flex " Silver Load Series Whips 4' - Black

I've been doing a lot of research on CB antennas and Wilson "Flex" Silver Load Series Whips 4' - Black Bought because of your flexibility I broke my last Fire Stix while flipping so the flexibility is GOOD no plans for more flips! Another reason I went with the Wilson Flex was that it had good SWR adjustment abilities from the start. Well it was easy to install but I had to tweak a lot to get a good 1:1 match. I ended up not having to cut 1/4" from the bottom of the brass top load. This meant I

Porous design. in Accessories & Consumables

To be honest I thought this 4 foot antenna was going to be a hit. Unfortunately, if I buy 3 of them, it has many problems.1. The rubber cover is tight and swollen. Undressing is a nightmare. As soon as you start twisting and knocking off the rubber cap, the copper bolt's silver solder coil will break. Also, the tiny wrench to loosen the adjusting screw is too small.2. The black wire is not grounded. I found out by checking that it is a common cable. VALUE is the middle needle on the coax, this…
