📡 Enhanced Wilson Electronics DT Panel Antenna (304447) - Review

I have a DT 4G amp. I replaced a tiny desktop antenna with this chunky version. I get the best signal coverage in my 900 square feet. ft. In my case, I'd say the signal range is about twice that of a tiny antenna. On the other hand, the voice call quality hasn't improved, so you might still need to find a place to make important calls.

THIS IS A LIFE CHANGING PRODUCT! I have this grafted onto my DT4G. By the way, internal antenna. and now my entire dining room has LTE 4g coverage. I get coverage in my other rooms too, but not as much and sometimes just 3g. but I live in a country where I was lucky enough to even get a 3G bar. and now for a friend who prepaid with Verizon and couldn't use roaming tower to call or text. Now she won't get off her iPhone.

This (internal) antenna did not produce much more output power than the standard desktop antenna supplied with Wilson amplifier kits. I mounted it high up on the wall in the room where I needed to improve reception and switched back to the small table antenna. I checked the signal strength several times and with a small antenna the reception improved. In fact, I doubt it even works - I only get a better signal with a cable.

I've added this to the DT 4G Cellular Booster (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HWX16GU). The antenna that came with the DT 4G only covered part of the room. With this antenna I now have coverage for my entire 1,400 square foot house. This is a directional antenna. So keep that in mind when trying to figure out where to place it. This also came with a specific cable length and correct connector types to connect to the amp. No additional cables or adapters were required.

I installed this antenna on the inside wall of my van opposite the sliding door to direct the signal to the fire pit. The maximum I got was about 3-4 feet so I still had to sit on the van step to get a signal. I was able to use a portable hotspot which I placed in front of the panel antenna and then I connected my phone to the hotspot and it gave me a little more distance so I could sit by the fire multiple times depending on signal strength. etc. I gave it a star because in the 2 months I've…

Used as indoor antenna to cover web booster, and outdoor antenna is OTR antenna. As long as those antennas aren't close together, and that antenna isn't pointing away from the outside antenna, everything works great!
