Amazing New Balls!: Tennis & Sports Rackets

This is amazing. The latter are 2-3 times longer than Viking balls. I have a theory that the EXD and Master Athletics balls are the same ball with a different logo. They still don't handle wet weather well, but they haven't found a ball that can withstand them.

Pros
  • EXD Technology for Longer Life
Cons
  • Expensive

Good balls suitable for tennis and racquets

This ball is much stronger than Viking balls and plays very much like Vikings. Our paddle league in Kansas City switched to Wilson's ball. I rarely buy new balls since our league game balls are only good for a game or two. At the Vikings, we often used more than one ball in a game.

Pros
  • 2 tennis balls on a platform in a box
Cons
  • Not bad

Best Wet Weather Ball

The boys and I played 3 sets on a wet night recently. One with Viking, one with Master and one with Wilson. Wilson easily outclassed the rest. Viking was bare after 3 games, 6 games for the Master and Wilson still looked pretty good at 6-4. The downsides are the price and that the balls play a bit softer and bouncier - best on cold and rainy days. (Perfect Snowball!)

Pros
  • APTA Approved
Cons
  • weak
