Unimpressed with these dampeners

Based on my experience, these dampeners failed to live up to their claims. While they did slightly reduce vibration, it was barely noticeable. The pros? They were easy to install. However, the cons outweigh this small advantage. I would not recommend these dampeners to anyone looking for true vibration reduction.

Pros
  • Offers excellent shock absorption during the use of tennis rackets
Cons
  • May not appeal to players who prefer subtle dampening effects on their racket strings

I am disappointed. I have many dampers and they all work well, but this one doesn't absorb all the vibration. Looks very nice and great on my ultras but just doesn't work. It's unbelievable that a simple piece of rubber won't work, but it doesn't. I think it's because the material is very hard. I had to add a rubber band to make it work.

Pros
  • Item Package Weight: 0.006lb
Cons
  • Thin

Just trust me, AVOID. Too far.

They're about seven dollars, so worth a try. Wilson somehow managed to make the shock so wide that it literally stretches the strings IF you have the Olympic strength to actually put them on a racquet. In order for them to work, you should have very wide string spacing. Possibly 14x14 racquet. Besides, it's worse than useless. Source: 4.5 A player using shock absorbers 100%.

Pros
  • Reduces string vibration for more comfort and feel
Cons
  • Good, but not great
