Description of Wilton Scoop-It Batter Spoons: Set of 3 for Effortless Baking Bliss

Make evenly sized cupcakes to ensure consistent baking by filling baking cups. Egg-shaped design makes pouring easy and mess free. Bowl will be scraped clean, thanks to the flexible edge that acts like a silicone spatula. Three sizes in one set – mini, regular, jumbo - for all your baking needs. Spoons nests for compact storage; cupcake-shaped ring holds spoons together.

Love the convenience of these scoops

After reading a book about baking delicious bread and cakes, you'll learn that measurements are extremely important. I've found that you shouldn't just stick a measuring cup in a bag of flour and assume you have the right measurements; There is science behind actually using shovels and they work very well and are very easy to clean and store.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There's chores to do

They are ok on meters and scales

The dough sticks to it so you have to use a spatula to remove the dough. I've read that some people also spray it with nonstick cooking spray before using it. I measured the capacitance of each by filling it with water (to the brim) and then weighing the water. And here's what I got: Mini = 20ml = 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon = 2/3 oz Regular = 55-60ml = about 1/4 cup = 2 oz Large = 120ml = 1/2 cup = 4 oz

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to

  • Basically everything is ok but...

Just use an ice cream scoop! IMHO

I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. In theory, this should fill each cup perfectly, but I ended up with a mess trying to fill cupcakes and wiping off the excess batter dripping everywhere? Maybe they are perfect for thin doughs and not thick ones? I'm not sure but I was very disappointed and ended up only having ice cream scoops which work great and have more than one function. Thumbs down!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly

I love them for making cupcakes

I love them so much I recommended them to my daughter and bought another set for my southern apartment. Before using them I only tried using a measuring cup which wasn't always accurate and made it harder to make sure the batter came out. These spoons will help collect the right amount of batter. And I love the built in scraping function that these spoons have. I usually use a medium sized spoon for my regular sized cupcakes, but I like the flexibility of the three sizes.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Silicone peels off

The concept is a good idea. However, I wasn't sure which line was the true measurement: was it the top one, like a measuring cup? Or was it a line where hard plastic met silicone? In any case, it was not easy to make an accurate and clean filling. The dough stuck to everything, so it wasn't any more convenient than a cup. In addition, with all but the blue measuring cup, silicone detached too early from the hard plastic cup. Most of the time we washed them by hand, but some might end up in the…

Small measuring spoon set

I love this set! The color is great, the sizes aren't those silly words like "dab, a little, a pinch", etc. I used 1/4 and 1/8 scoops the most because I need to make my own vitamin C serum, I need to know real measurements so I don't burn myself (yes, that can actually happen with vitamin C crystals). I made my own serum and it's perfect! The handles are silicone coated, which is nice because if you tap them against the side of the bowl, they're pretty quiet. The spoons snap in and out of the…

"Fur " Cutest thing I can say

I have to start by saying I really, really dislike it when Revain takes a group of products and all the reviews into one combines one. This can demote a super great product or make a mediocre product appear better than it really is. In this particular case, I received an item that I wish I had never bought. I don't find them useful for getting a consistent end product, the handles are awkward when trying to REMOVE content, and they don't fit well. I could live with the problem of not having a…

Very good idea, excellent product quality and design, but not for me.

This set is characterized by Wilton quality and design. I bought these because of the difficulty of filling the 24 cupcake mini pan, thinking that the conical shape would make it less messy than using a measuring cup or spoon. However, I think an ice cream scoop would be more effective. Some of the dough I make is too stiff for this spoon and is no more effective for these types of dough than a regular 1/4 cup measuring cup. I don't waste time filling a scoop 24 times to fill 24 cavities. I use
