🔍 Winco PMCP-200 Measuring Cup Review: Polycarbonate, 2-Quart, Clear - A Must-Have Kitchen Essential Review

I've read several reviews about the mug cracking or appearing to crack, particularly at the bottom. Well, I bought one anyway, assuming this item STILL has 4 stars. I used mine to measure motor oil from a 6 quart jug. worked fine I put the cup aside and cleaned it after about a week and now it's leaking. 1/3 bottom crack and leaking. Not sure why it failed as it is listed as POLYCARBONATE. I will come back for a refund. A leaky measuring cup is useless.

I am very disappointed in the Winco 4 liter plastic measuring cup. The plastic is thin for the size and weight of the water. hands are hard to hold top too wide and bottom unsupported by handles too wavy sometimes i wonder if these manufacturers ever use their products someone needs to be fired they were warned polycarbonate 4 liter rubbermaid . The plastic in this item is hard and brittle. The ruler dyes on the softer, flexible plastic versions of this mug tend to chip over time or simply fade with repeated washing. Plastics that are too brittle can crack or crack over time, but in general their numbers, lines, and letters remain legible for much longer. They're a little thinner than I expected, I don't know how long they'll last in a busy commercial kitchen. But one thing I really like is the handle, on previous models I had the handle attached at the top and bottom, they are open at the bottom so you can hang it on the mixing bowl while scooping from the bowl. I work alone and often have to interrupt my work to help clients. So instead of floating the cup in the bowl or leaving the dirty cup on the counter, I can just leave it in the bowl and
