This grip is amazing!

I don't know how I got by without this for so long. I originally bought this to take Lloyd's Detroit pizza trays out of the oven, but quickly found that it works just as well as grabbing the rim of a standard sheet pan! If you cook or bake in pans, buy one now.

does what it should

I use a hook to pull out the rack. I wear a size 9 glove and it fits my hand perfectly. in the oven. Set at an angle, so it probably won't work if the rim of the pan is deep in the oven (no moving grate).

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

It does the job: kitchen and dining room

I bought a couple of these for the Dominos I work with on site and they work damn well. I'm giving it four stars because the spring in the handle seems to have weakened a lot after prolonged use. And yet it still works. I would recommend this anytime over the synthetics because they are very strong.

it's a bit short: casserole dish

everything seems fine. I use it to lift hot pans that have been on the fire. (Obviously not as intended.) It's a bit short though. I would prefer a little longer so there is less risk of burning my hand. But it was the best I've found so far (I was trying to find the fire tool people used in the boy scout days). in the 1980s and 1990s, but not anymore. OK.)

Wow. Now it's convenient!

I've never had a special tool for handling oven trays. This is amazing stuff. I will instruct you. Feel a little heavier because of the extra hand. But if you have the power to use it. It's really handy. Fast when you move the bowl. No heat will be transferred to your hand. and oven racks. Works great with our 14" metal Chicago pizza pan.

  • Well built

scratched. Without locking mechanism

Looks cheap. Stays open all the time unless you keep it closed by hand. Didn't realize it doesn't have a locking mechanism to keep it closed when not in use. (Without a locking mechanism, that takes up space in the alcove and could snag other types of kitchenware. And anyone who has multiple drawers of kitchenware knows what I'm talking about.) A minor scratch has arrived, too. Haven't tried it yet so can't tell if it overheats with use.

  • Complete set

  • High price

No burned fingers! in Kitchen & Dining

Ideal for picking up a hot pan from a deep fryer. How many times have I burned my fingers trying to get a small pot out of the AF basket. ***COMPANY TIP --- it would be much better if the handle was teflon coated (which is what is used in other spatulas etc) --- they will surely scratch your edges of the pans (let me add - - they HAVE scratched the edges of my pans) I will continue to use them because they are a great tool (AF or even a regular oven) - but they can be made to better protect the

  • An absolute legend

  • There are even more interesting options.

I'm one of those people who loves the "Internet" because of my random addictive thought processes, impulse buying, and major credit cards! I found a site that discussed the best potholders/handles/tweezers (the names seem to be interchangeable) and this was the one that came highly recommended. Its cast aluminum is very strong and suitable for moving oven racks as well as anything inside the oven. So far he has lifted every baking tray out of the oven and has done a great job. Flipped over 1*…

sucks - pizza pans and stones

Not happy with it. The first thing I noticed was a chipping metal coating - I don't want it on my client's pizza, but I really didn't care. Of course they hold a deep pan pretty tight, but the design is so clumsy. Imagine holding the scissors in front of you and then bending your wrist to point them at the floor. The handle works well when you're holding the pizza low, e.g. B. on the bottom rack of a low oven, but if you hold the pan high or straight in front of you as if you were taking the…
