Thin, sharp edges, cheaply made

I think you get what you pay for. Functionally, they work perfectly. But the edges are pretty sharp, just stamped out of steel. I should have paid more for a better screen.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Fire this vendor!

Poor quality, edges are sharp, little fingers don't fit in the shaker and the chrome is already peeling off even though I opened the box an hour ago. Where is the quality control?

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Good but not great

Durable, big, easy to clean!

Ideal for every beverage manufacturer! I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she uses it every time we make drinks! It is easy to clean, very durable and of excellent quality. I was expecting the metal to be thinner, but it's actually quite heavy.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Interval

Large Screen on Bar Screens

I use this screen with a typical two piece Boston shaker. It works great, fits well and is surprisingly durable. He arrived on time. My only complaint is minor; it's a little rough around the edges. Not enough to hurt you, but looks like they might be able to dig it up. If you need a hawthorn strainer then I highly recommend you buy it!

Pros
  • Well Built
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Bait and Switches in Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

The image clearly does not correspond to the actual product. The picture posted shows a spring with more coils drawn thinner. The one I got has way fewer coils. I will post pictures comparing the two. The first picture shows a spring with many coils, the second picture shows the actual product which is significantly different.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Embarrassed

Poor design

Suppose you want to pour a cocktail from a shaker into a fairly narrow glass, and then you realize that this strainer has a nearly 1/4 inch strip of metal right down the middle for the liquid to come out out of here. Excuse me? What is it for? Instead of a single fill, I want to see a split view? No thank you. I don't need to see double after my first drink. Additionally, the metal tabs on the outside that prevent the strainer from falling into the shaker are curved, and if those curves don't…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

STAY AWAY!: Kitchenware & Gadgets

I bought 3 packs as gifts and had to return them because I was embarrassed. Very cheap version. The wafer-thin metal and spring barely stay in place. See comparison of my standard filter. The spring is about 1/3 the size and the metal body is about 1/4 the size. I tried to strain the drink out of my shaker and just the pressure of my finger holding the ice was enough to dent the handle. Imagine 100 casts.

Pros
  • Essential Barware
Cons
  • Not Safe

Sharp business. best in category Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

STAMP THE EDGE or you'll make bloody bartenders. How do you make a bloody bartender? You take 1 part rum, 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice, crushed mint and sprite, pass through this strainer and de-aerate the whole drink. The ridges on this thing would put a computer case to shame. You should definitely grind or deburr the metal handle. it's so hard

Pros
  • Wire Spring Strainer
Cons
  • No Power

Too bad bad design

Let's say you want to pour a cocktail from a shaker into a moderately narrow glass, and then you realize that this strainer has an almost 1/4 inch strip of metal right in the Inside has center where the liquid comes out. Excuse me? What is it for? Instead of a single fill, I want to see a split view? No thank you. I don't need to see double after my first drink. Additionally, the metal tabs on the outside that prevent the strainer from falling into the shaker are curved, and if those curves…

Pros
  • 4 prongs for easy pouring
Cons
  • loose change
