By pressing the handle against the bottom of the cloth sleeve you get good contact with the 2 rods, top and bottom. My blinds were pretty dusty so I went through all 5 sleeves in one sitting. I'll toss them in the wash with the other microfiber towels.

These blinds cleaners do a very good job of cleaning blinds. You have to put some effort into closing the blinds so they clean the blinds well. The only problem is leaving some colored fluff on the blinds. I've washed them but they still come off some lint, not much so it's still worth buying them because they help the blinds to be cleaned more easily.

These work best with mini blinds (small slats close together. Mine are wide and more like blinds and the "arches" are very close together. My blinds are dirty not dusty. Since I live on a busy street with open windows, my blinds get very dirty. Microfiber is not so good. Wiping down the blinds with a cleaner proved to be just as much of a hassle as simply wiping them down with a damp paper towel. I usually just pick them up and pour them in the tub. I thought they would work on false shutter doors (no movement on the shutters) but they didn't fit the slots.
