EXCELLENT DAYTIME PRIVACY. Provides great intended privacy during daytime only; the mirror-effect is reversed at night since the interior will be exposed to more light than the exterior. The side with the most light will have the mirror-like appearance. EXTRA DARK AND REFLECTIVE to create a mirror-like appearance while reducing cooling costs during the summer through effective Heat Rejection. VISIBLE LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE / VLT : 10%. ( 5% = Very Dark. 15% = Dark. 35% = Lightly Dark. 50% = Light. 65% = Very Light). STRONG ADHESIVES to last many years. For easier installation, remember to use A LOT of soap/water mixture to soak both the adhesive side and window. HIGH QUALITY PERFORMANCE films that are sensitive by nature. Please remember to take caution when handling the film as the slight fold may create a permanent wrinkle. FREE KNIFE & SQUEEGEE are included in the package.

Great for privacy but darkens the room

I really like this product. The only thing I don't like is that it gets very dark in my room, like the day is overcast all the time. It gives me the privacy I've been looking for, but I'm not sure if it's worth the dark, somber feeling.

Much cooler!: Window Decals and Films

Bought these for our sunny room to cover eight sliding glass doors. We live in the south and it gets hot in the solarium even with the curtains closed. Installed and the temperature in the solarium dropped by almost 15 *. We love it and now enjoy the solarium more often.

Bought twice and LOVE IT

On all our windows, helps with the heat, keeps the house cooler and the AC doesn't fight as hard to keep the house cooler. I haven't filmed it yet, so I'm not sure how it will go, but I don't intend to. I love the feel of hue in the house, and teens with deeply rooted emotions appreciate it too.

Does a great job of blocking out heat and providing privacy, though.

The color tone is quite dark. I had to install higher wattage LED bulbs equal to 100w to light the house well enough after installing tint throughout the house. Installing it in the garage greatly reduced the temperature. Very impressed with its performance in unheated/cooled environments.

Unusable windows made usable!

Easy to cut and install. Fantastic adhesion to windows and amazing protection from the hot sun on the west side of our home. The exterior has a sleek, slightly mirrored look that looks like you can see a natural reflection even at dusk. Doesn't provide coverage at night if you have a light inside which is clearly stated on the packaging. Huge savings on air conditioning have allowed us to open the curtains at the back of our house for the first time since we moved in!

Blocks out the sun during the day and provides privacy but doesn't see very well outside at night

I don't normally write reviews but I think I should on this product. It was pretty easy to install as I watched tons of YouTube videos before purchasing. I like the way it looks inside and out and it blocks the sun A LOT. That's the perfect amount of light for me. Not sure if this has affected my heating bills as I haven't had time to apply it to all my windows yet as it takes time. I would start with the least important windows first, or the windows that people will see the least, so you can…
