Description of πŸ”₯ 3PCS Windproof Rope Lighter: Vintage WWII Style, Portable Survival Lighter for Outdoor Camping - No Kerosene/Gas Needed. Perfect Army Navy Gift Set (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

Lightweight & Convenient: This mini rope lighter is convenient to carry with on go(37.3g/piece only); no need to refill kerosene or gas, perfect for wilderness activities, camping or other outdoor activities. How to use: just strike the attached flint wheel to create sparks, which are caught on a charred cotton rope, that has been partially withdrawn from a metal tube housing. The cotton ropes can be replaced once run out. This was typically used for lighting cigarettes which does not require a flame to accomplish. Once an ember is generated, it is windproof, and is extinguished by retracting the cord back inside the tube and an attached lid snuffs it out. The flame-less feature made rope lighter somewhat covert and was often used during WWII. The windproof feature is of great help to shepherds who are out in the windy field while watching their flocks. This rope lighter makes it easy to create a live ember, when, combined with tinder, can be coaxed into a flame for starting campfires. Note: With a new rope lighter, burn the end of the rope before using it with the flint. The end must be blackened for the spark to catch.

This can help you. If you are interested in buying

I thought it was more like a keychain but as you can see in the picture it's not on the tiny little rope. Finger Love the device just thought it was smaller and it took almost two months to get here if you don't mind the weight it's definitely worth the price and works as they say. no flame, just cherry amber when the rope catches fire. I think the cherry can be trained to turn into a flame, but that would burn most of the rope.

These are fantastic devices.

Although they require consumables, they will last a lifetime if you have bags of extra flint and rope on hand. As part of a diverse firelighter kit, while nothing is perfect, in certain situations they cannot be faulty. I almost wish I hadn't smoked, especially a pipe or cigar, just to use them more often. In any case, I like to have exactly these items in my set. Most people believe that today and tomorrow will be the same. Few can start a fire, know how to stack clothes properly, or have the…

Super helpful and super cool!

I bought this set to give to my three sons. They loved, loved the lighter so much. It's useful, you never know when you'll need it, but when you do need it, you'll be glad you bought it. It is ideal for lighting a fire or cigarette when a conventional lighter is unavailable or when wind/weather conditions render a conventional lighter (or matches) unusable. Best of all, unlike BIC or Zeppo (or similar), they don't require lighter fluid or other flammable liquids. It is ignited by a firing pin…
