Bought these for Chardonnay bottles which are wider than standard wine bottles. As you can see from the picture it will not attach to a Hess Collection Chardonnay bottle so I doubt it can be used on champagne bottles. This can be useful for thinner bottles like the Rose as the velcro allows for the sleeve to be tightened. The plates/chambers with the cooling gel are not as full as other brands like Vacu Vin and therefore may not cool.

So easy to use! Only store the recommended number of hours in the freezer. If you leave it in the freezer overnight, it's too difficult to wrap around a wine bottle. This should be thrown in the freezer 3-4 hours before drinking to keep it cold. It should not be kept in the freezer overnight. If you do this you will ruin this product!
