I thought this would be a great purchase since I first started cutting my hair at my home, unfortunately it didn't do what I thought it would and 'leave no mess' anywhere. #1 - it's uncomfortable, I can't move my arms in a certain way to cut my hair to keep the hair from falling out of the vest, #2 - when you take off the vest, the hair runs all over the body. I used it once and never again. I'll go back to laying the apron on the floor and then rolling it up, unless someone else has a choice…

I didn't even know that such a style even existed. I bought another type that doesn't have whole parts for your hands to go through. And what a mess I kept making, so I gave it to a friend who cuts hair for a living. She told me to go back to Revane and look for it. It's much better because it has armholes. So now when I style my hair, the "cloak" catches everything and nothing falls to the floor!

I first bought this for myself when I was cutting my own hair. However, I was hoping that I could use it on my son when I cut his hair. And I'm happy to report that although he has holes for his hands, he works with his hands under the cloak. He's also a big kid (6ft like a linebacker) and he fits perfectly!
