Insufficient airflow

The USB cable for the fan has no strain relief and it doesn't really move much air. It's still pretty cheap compared to other 5V fans, but much more expensive than the 12V and 24V versions.

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Quiet but doesn't move much air

I bought this to replace the Noctua A4x10 as a cooler for the cold end of my 3D printer as a fan (with fan). hood) has to move a lot more air through the radiator. Unfortunately, upon replacement, the temperature of the heatsink has increased, suggesting that it moves less air than the axial noctua. I replaced it with an old cheap fan, I needed to cool the parts and it worked much better so it's not a shroud. They're just weak fans. On the plus side, they are very quiet.

  • Always liked

Total bullshit, will fail very soon

Bought these to replace a failed fan in our humidifier as it was a direct replacement. After a week or two it got loud. Got a second and the same. They just aren't built to last.

Pros
  • Like all others so far
Cons

Somewhat satisfied I think as one fan failed after three days.

There were no problems with the fans for several days but I installed one and it worked for several days and started making a low whistling noise and stopped. Installed another fan, a few weeks have passed and everything is fine. I have a new one left and it would be a hassle to return a fan, you know what I mean.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The fans work well and are not noisy

I bought them for my 3D printer to cool the stepper motors and the hot end for the cooling duct of Hero Me 5. Fit perfectly and the installation was simple, just connecting two wires. The noise level is very acceptable but then again my printer is in a garage with an enclosure so your experience may vary.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Excellent value for money - internal components

This is a great fan replacement for Vick's small spaces. Our humidifier fan made noises, creaked, and then just stopped working. Buying a fan costs more than a 4-pack. Simply open the base of the humidifier and then remove the small cover that covers the electronics board. Remove the old fan, I used two small pieces of foam insulation from the old fan which absorbs the vibrations, there was enough glue left and it stuck to the new fan. Disconnect the old fan connector from the circuit board and

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No insurance

Replacement for Vicks vaporizer

The fan in my Vicks vaporizer broke down and I bought them. I only needed one, not four. I wish there was a cheaper option. It fits perfectly in the evaporator, but is noticeably louder than the original in the car. The noise can be masked with a white noise generator, but it's certainly louder than what comes with the vaporizer. However, it does the job.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Great price
