When I received one of the markers, it was defective.

One of the markers was broken when I received it. The other markings are decent, but the color doesn't match the two markings, which defeats the purpose. In my opinion, Blick Studio markers are cheaper and much better quality. I'm so disappointed I should have trusted the bad reviews. It's not worth this money.

Fiction! in Art, Painting & Craft Supplies

Definitely a learning curve but great markers, I look forward to using more of these and getting more colors! They blend beautifully and the colors are definitely pigmented. I was amazed at how smoothly they went on paper. I would definitely recommend this product, a step up from Brishmarker and Promarker and it shows!

Cons
  • Not bad

Leaky, nondescript, too expensive to leak everywhere.

I have to admit I've never used pigment markers, but since the Letraset Tria markers were discontinued I've been trying new markers to find a replacement. So far not satisfied! As soon as I open them, they flow! If that's ok with pigment markers, then I won't waste money on pigment markers anymore! See photos!

Danger. You cannot return it.

I haven't seen anything obvious that tells me I can't return this item if I want to, due to combustible materials etc. That info will be found if you want to return it. Now some people blend the marks with their fingers. Given the warning about the materials it contains, this seems unreasonable. That being said, if it suits your favorite art style, it is a good product.

Great markers, but they only work well on specialty paper.

Excellent non-fading colours. Note, however, that if you want the blendability these markers are known for, you will need to use Winsor & Newton's specialty paper for pigment markers or parchment paper or a very low absorbency surface. Even if you use very high quality smooth cardboard or bristol paper the colors don't mix much and you don't get a great pastel effect when used with a white marker. W&N does not help to offer alternative papers. They only offer their own pigment marker paper…
