I like this fabric tape measure. It's easy to read. The auto return works well. It's big enough for work and feels good in the hand. It's not as good as other roulettes I've reviewed, but still very good.

I used it to measure the DBH of trees and it broke on the first day in the field. The button that pulls the ribbon back when you're done no longer works, so we'll just wrap it by hand. I will no longer buy them for my lab.

I'm glad I opened it away from my horse. everything broke into pieces and flew everywhere! I can't believe this product is even being sold, it is extremely dangerous as it is so poorly made. Absolute rubbish and should not be sold!
