DOA; Will never read more than "0 " PSI

Sounds like a good idea. The real bargain at $10.99. But it came with the arrow on the wrong side of the pin, so it was meant to never show more than "0" PSI. I bet home installers working from home can easily pay $20 for such a quality device. Revain promptly returned the money.

Pros
  • Includes Schrader exhaust valve on nozzle
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Spend your money on better quality

I need this for one time use to check the water pressure in a house I am building. Since I needed it for a one-time use, I didn't spend extra money on quality. Spend money for higher quality. I changed the washing machine, then used the plumbing, then ordered another one. The quality control of the parts did not allow sealing of the parts.

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Inlet valve leaking.

While it appears to be well made, it is frustrating that out of over 100 glued and screwed pipe connections in my installation, the only place I had a leak was at a check gauge. As you can see in the photo when I pumped it up to 100psi when I sprayed it with soapy water it was leaking in the air intake valve. Unscrewing the lid helped a little as it slowed the air loss a bit. So I had to spray soapy water on every joint and bonded fitting to make sure it didn't leak there either.

Pros
  • Pressure Test Gauge and Housing
Cons
  • Thin
