Not suitable for 12 V VR6 metal plugs as these will break

I used this to try to unplug cylinder number 3 on my Corrado VR6. It didn't fit properly and when I compared it to my OEM plastic tool, its inside diameter was too small. I pressed the tool against the 14mm jack, which opened it up a bit, and attempted to remove the plug again. As soon as I felt the tool hit the ground, which required more force than I thought it should have, I twisted it slightly and the tool's barrel disengaged from the metal rod. So now the bottom half of the tool is stuck…
