As per other reviews. No instructions and flimsy bolts holding the tie rods. 2 bolts came loose on first entry into the water making it unusable in this case. I had to drill 2 more holes, mount 4 dowels and screw in 4 different screws to hold the bars. At least it worked after that. It is highly recommended that you get some anchor bolts and extra screws when you buy this product, otherwise you will face the same problem as me.

I don't usually write reviews but this product sucks. This kit comes with no instructions, parts list, schematics, anything. After assembling the main components like the picture on the web, there are 2 hex screws left to fix it to the kayak. You have to guess what size hole to drill as they didn't bother to include those instructions. These are regular hex bolts too.
