I was sure you needed a pizza stone to get a good crust. I don't believe in that pizza philosophy anymore. I'm here to tell you that I can get the crust just as good with this strainer as I can with my pizza stone. The best thing about the screen is that there is no preheat stone! It cuts down the time in the oven significantly, just preheat the oven, cook the pizza right on the screen on the counter, then toss it all on the rack and take it all out when it's done.
