Great Buy !: my feedback

Especially for the price, these are great ! I got them to work about 400 feet with clear line of sight and they easily work from 1 corner of my house to the opposite corner of the other floor. That means it works through a floor and multiple walls. Though they are not high security, their security is enough that I have never had any issue with outside interference.

Pros
  • Works as intended. Ra ge is decent. You dlneed to use the antennas for anything greater than 5 feet.
Cons
  • Defecrive!!!

Incredible device! on my review.

I am so pleased with the performance. Way better range than I was expecting for this great price. I'm getting a solid response at 100' and that's without an antennae on the transmitter! Still trying to wrap my mind around what a great purchase I just made. Solid Five Stars.

Pros
  • Buen producto sin problemas.
Cons
  • 120 ordered. 30 tested. 10 have failed.

TRANSMITTER RUNS WARM TO HOT

I recently reviewed this item - gave it 4 stars - - that review has not yet been posted.I am a reducing the stars to two. The transmitter DRAINS a 12V, A23 battery in no time - tried two different batteries. The batteries overheated, and the transmitter became quite warm to the touch. Now using a single 18650 at 3.7 volts. I measured the current draw at 55 Ma - did not measure it with the A23 battery - probably a lot higherThe transmitter still works OK, transmits across the room, but is still…

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Requires a separate power supply, adding to overall complexity

not so good for my opinion

Wired up unit as instructed by voltage requirements. Transmitter works as it show up on other receivers. However the receiver only gets red hot and transforms into a SMD device. (SMD= smoke emitting device). So there is no real way to rate this device other than to say, if you need toast for breakfast, this device will make it.

Pros
  • Keypads & Remotes
Cons
  • Limited backward compatibility with previous versions of the product

A very good bargain, there's just one little "catch ".

The modules I'm reviewing right now are very good, but most of the cheap 433 MHz transmitter/ receiver pairs you see advertised aren't a good deal, because they require a digital encoder chip on the transmitter side and a digital decoder chip on the receiver side. Or, you need a microcontroller on both ends to make them work. Either way, you can't use them unless you build a circuit board to hold the extra components. The sellers never bother to tell you that additional components are needed to

Pros
  • Application environment: Remote control switch, receiver module, motorcycles, automobile anti-theft products, home security products, electric doors, remote control socket, remote control LED, garage door remote control, remote control door opener, remote control curtains, alarm host, remote control MP3.
Cons
  • May be affected by weather and environmental conditions, limiting outdoor use

Took receipt of the product and set it up on a breadboard. After developing the circuit according to the seller's instructions I wanted to examine the transmitter output on a spectrum analyzer so I powered up the transmitter with a 9 volt battery which is well withing the recommended voltage range, I could not detect any RF output in the 433 ISM band. I did locate a low level incoherent noisy signal at about 540 MHz. I returned both the transmitter and receiver to ebay and asked for a…

Pros
  • Superheterodyne
Cons
  • Requires knowledge of programming for proper configuration and operation

Great little receiver/transmitter set.

Having a dedicated transmitter and receiver like this makes integrating into microcontrollers simple. No decoding of the transmitted signal is needed. The only "tricky" part (and it's really not hard at all) is to ensure which transmitter pin triggers which output. The initial set I received had a bad output on one of the channel. The Seller was quick to respond and sent out a complete new set.

Pros
  • excelente
Cons
  • Not compatible with all microcontrollers and development boards

Great Product, Super Easy to Work With, Bargain Price

I'm using these to monitor up to 16 remote sensors with one microcontroller. So far I am very pleased. All the units I have used so far have worked, which isn't necessarily the case with all overseas suppliers. I'm using within a house (60 ft distance through walls) and haven't had any issues with signal, but I haven't tested the 50m range. Very easy to pair. As noted, the pin numbering 1-4 doesn't match between TX and RX, so you will have to test. Nice working voltage range for battery powered

Pros
  • Building Materials
Cons
  • Not compatible with Bluetooth or WiFi, limiting connectivity options

very good chip set: my feedback

these chips work great once you realize that the ports are out of order, but once you figure out which port matches up to which port they work extremely well

Pros
  • The QIACHIP RX480E is compatible with most devices, making it the ultimate solution for those looking for a versatile receiver. Whether you're using it for home automation or industrial applications, you can trust that this receiver will work smoothly
Cons
  • May require additional testing and calibration to ensure proper operation

Works great with few extra components!

I bought these modules to upgrade a checkpoint box for the Santa Monica Sports Car Club. I bought 3 sets so I could experiment with different antennas. I had best results with a Moxon antenna on the transmit side and the coil antenna (supplied with the kit) on the receiver. I tried connecting a rubber wand antenna to the receiver and it quit working. I could not repair it. On the second chip, I used the little coil antenna and it works surprisingly well even completely enclosed in an aluminum…

Pros
  • Working Voltage : DC3.3~5V
Cons
  • Can be difficult to troubleshoot issues due to lack of error reporting

NO INSTRUCTIONS on my review.

I HAVE AT LEAST 3 OF THESE KITS AND NONE HAVE WORKED. I THINK IF I KNEW WHAT THE VOLTAGE SHOULD BE FOR THE RECEIVER, THEY MIGHT HAVE SURVIVED. GREAT ITEM IF IT ONLY WORKED!

Pros
  • Very good range
Cons
  • I ordered 2 pairs. Both receivers fried when breadboarded using a 12 V DC regulated supply.
