Nice camera, love the fact that it has no cables

I have 4 Reolink cameras in total. If this model has 2 of them, the other two have a solar panel, which makes things a bit easier as you don't have to charge the camera. However, we wanted a camera with no cables or drilling. Setup is easy, the app is intuitive, and the customer service is great. You will usually receive an answer to any question within a few hours. Image quality is good. night vision too. You can set the siren or individual alarm when motion is detected. When the camera is inโ€ฆ

Unusable IR sensor with good image. After the update it got worse.

---- Update 2021-08-16-------After the last app update (yes, software on your phone, not firmware) the PIR motion detection is getting worse and worse. Either too sensitive (high and medium) or not sensitive at all (low). This is very annoying. For some reason updating the software application affects the behavior of the camera, which technically shouldn't be the case. Unless the phone is constantly communicating with the camera behind your back and uploading a firmware update without warningโ€ฆ

How to connect to Alexa

I was having trouble connecting to Alexa. I went to the Alexa app in the Smart Home section and searched for the Alexa skill for Reolink cameras. I found it and enabled the skill to connect my camera to Alexa. Once enabled, the Alexa Skill will redirect you to the Reolink app on your phone where you will be prompted to sign in with your Reolink email address and password. It then prompts you to ask Alexa to discover new devices, which I did, but nothing at all after a few tries. For me itโ€ฆ
