Doesn't work when the block is indoors.

We had to move the main unit out of the house or it would get in the way of work too much. We tried placing it in different spots around the house but none of them were effective. The collars happened to start shocking our dogs when they were outside. We removed and plugged in the collars inside and they would activate at random times just by sitting by the door. We restarted the device and collars several times but it didn't help. Now that we've placed it on the back porch it seems to be…

  • Great for a small home

Order a second collar separately!

I LOVE this product for my two dogs. Unfortunately, however, one of the transmitters was constantly defective, causing my dog to suffer an unnecessary electric shock. The other worked perfectly. Easy to fix right? I wrote AND called to exchange a collar but was told I would have to return the entire system. (Hence the three stars.) If you need this product for two dogs, I highly recommend purchasing it in two pieces: a single dog containment center and then an additional collar. It's the same…

  • This is amazing

Don't be afraid, it's easy to set up!

I bought this device for my two dogs. I have 3 acres on the outskirts of town and I don't want to enclose it. I have a 9 year old Golden Retriever and a 1 year old Golden Doodle. I couldn't get them to cooperate to show them the flags and flare in training mode. I also couldn't find anyone to help them train, so it was delayed for a while. Finally I said to hell with him, put the collars in the first position that shocks and let the dogs figure it out. They did and it works great. I've been…

Only game in town? good for dogs

I was hesitant to install it because the instructions sounded complicated. Although in reality it is not so. The solo lasted 90 minutes.1. You have to position it in your house in relation to the area of the yard you want to cover. It is not waterproof so outdoor placement may be questionable.2. If your yard is not the same shape as your house, you may not be able to cover the entire yard. For example, to cover the front of my house and keep my dogs outside, my dogs only have access to 1/2 the…

Two young boxers and it works for us!

I've been using this system since mid September and it works great for my two boxers, siblings under 2 years old. I think it worked so well because I sat outside with them for over a year using electronic collars with sound, vibration and shock. I used a tone to call them, a vibration to tell them to stop what they were doing, and an electric shock only when they were outside their limits. When I first started using this system, I was afraid that if they were near a metal carport, metal fence…
