This item is truly AMAZING! I've worked in calibration labs where one of our jobs was to test the accuracy of thermometers using the same basic methods (see or in my case watching a football game in front of the TV and checking my flesh at the same time). Since I'm lazy I can also use it in the kitchen when I'm in another room, timer functions, accurate reading, 4 probes for 4 courses (it's not just for meat) and as far as I know there is one 5 star items and an incredibly low price.

Had a question and contacted the manufacturer directly and they responded with a solution within 24 hours. I've just opened the box, put the batteries in and first impressions are that this thermometer is way better than any I've had before. The only thing is that port number 1 is not working. I disconnected and connected different sensors to all 4 ports several times and all worked except the first one. I'll update this to 5 stars when I get an answer and hopefully they'll send me another one. Everything else works as stated. Can't wait to try this with my new smoker! Update - I still haven't heard

This is advertised as having a range of 500ft, mine was around 5ft. I bought this specifically for cooking 2 turkeys side by side on 2 separate identical grills. 1 probe per turkey and 1 probe to measure the internal temperature of the grill. Apparently the transmitter stayed on the grid. I took the phone to my brick home about 35 feet away. After about 30 minutes of cooking, the temperature inside the grill on the remote was about 50 degrees hotter than I wanted (400f). I took the receiver…

We really wanted to love this thermometer. But I found that as the temperature increased, it became increasingly inaccurate as the difference between the sensors exceeded 30 degrees. When we cooked the brisket in our smoker, this thermometer read 154 degrees, then we inserted the probe that came with the Traeger smoker, it read 198 degrees. And of course we had it for 34 days.
