WOW. I bought this to replace an Actiontec setup (permanent link at 75ft), plugged in the transceiver and the picture came right away. It was so good I felt stupid. I figured I would have to make a few menu changes etc. No, plugged it in and bam, it was on. Use/Environment: CrossFit Gym, so we run monitors on both sides of the floor so the athletes can see the WODs on both sides of the floor. FYI I did my homework and got a 9.8/10.0 and I have to say it lives up to the rating.

Ad does not mention loss of detail in received image; I estimate a 10-15% loss though, resulting in a slightly washed out image and not as smooth motion as the original 1080P. This was noticeable when testing with only 8 feet between the transmitter and receiver and no walls in between. 10-15% doesn't seem like much, but being used to sharp and crisp 1080p images, that loss was unacceptable. This should be fine when used with a projector for office presentations, but not for home HD viewing.

We asked our A/V technician to install one of these and after about 90 days he started stuttering trying to keep a connection to the remote receiver. "Remote" is a relative term, but the receiver is within 25 feet of the sender! So on April 16th this year we ordered another unit from Revain of the same make and model, installed it and now it stutters. again unable to maintain a connection between transmitter and receiver. About a year later I had three of these TVs. Exactly a year later, the first stopped transmitting the sound to the second TV. Nothing but intermittent squeaky noises.
