Wireless streaming

I bought this device primarily to stream movies from my desktop to a large TV in my living room. I used to use my laptop to connect my TV via HDMI. But it's a little messy as I need to free up some space on my media station and swap out HDMI cables. Also, it emits light from the laptop and dulls the atmosphere of the theater a bit. Setup is pretty easy. There are two devices and the receiver (one labeled RX) is the one you want to connect to your TV. Then the other is your source (input). You can connect to any HDMI port. I could project signals from one room to another through the wall. It's about 40 feet away. Once connected, you should see two indicators on the receiver. The third indicator flashes when data is being transmitted. What I find useful to keep them in sync is to reset both at the same time. This will make them scan and connect fairly quickly. Image quality is decent. It streams in 1080p and is pretty smooth. It's kind of a compromise for the belief in functionality. Overall, I'm very happy with being able to connect my desktop to my TV from across the house.
