Order received with no problems. My problem is that after sending the sample in for analysis (about 3 weeks after receiving the container) I still haven't received my results. Also couldn't find any information online to contact Wix. After that I switched to another oil analysis company with good results.

I have used Wix and Finning for oil analysis. Finning fees extra for TBN - Wix includes it. Finning is definitely faster with lab processing - a few business days for Finning to submit results, with Wix taking around 7-10 business days upon receipt. The Wix kit is a bit cheaper than the Finning SOS kit. Bottom line – I use every one of them, and Wix is better if cost or TBN is important to you. Finning is definitely faster. Both do the job.

I've been using Blackstone Labs for years but decided to try the Wix UOA kit because of the cheap price. I sent the kit in a small box to the nearest lab via Priority Mail. For me it was in Portland. I got an email with the results pretty quickly, within a week I think. My only negative comment would be that the results do not include a flash point or fuel contamination percentage, which can be a significant problem with new direct injection engines.

The kit arrived quickly. It was easy to use and self-explanatory. WIX uses a company called ALS Tribology in Georgia to do the analysis and they get your sample. My sample arrived at ALS Tribology within two days. It took me a month to get the results and I had to call them to finally get them.
