filter hasn't been changed for a long time and mostly done when changing the oil, but never again! I paid half what a service shop would charge and it was easier for me to change it myself than to hose the car down. Pull out the old ones, put in the new ones, BOOM, done. Excellent purchase.

Wix products are among the best on the market. Don't buy cheap oil and air filters as they will only cost you more in the long run. Cheap oil filters don't filter out enough bad contaminants from your oil, plus they have cheap valves. Cheap air filters can let dirt get into the air intake and cause debris to build up on the sensors, resulting in poor gas mileage and a terrible check engine light!

Every time I change the oil I am told to change this filter. They want three times more for the filter than I paid for this one at Revain. It performs the same function as an OEM part. I really want to tell the tech who brings the filter and shows me that he can throw that filter away and put in the new one I have in the back seat.
