WIX Filters 46976 Breather Filter Review

Looks like a disappointment in the photo. You will receive a white fluffy felt filter, not a pleated fiber filter as shown in the picture. Also count yourself lucky if the little rubber seal works. Mine decided to go on vacation to Florida I think. Not that it's a huge disappointment, but a photo says more than a few hundred words, even at this age. 😑 Made in the USA, easier to store, I'll make a gasket. 👍

This is NOT what you get. There are at least two versions of this product. One of them is the item shown, which is also described in detail. The other is the foam filter, which doesn't offer the same product performance. The box is also missing a small foam pad that should have been included and pictured with the folded filter paper missing. I bought 3 of these and they were all with the wrong filter media and none of them had a gasket. At the very least, there's a relatively painless return…

Quality OEM part for my 1993 Ford F150 XLT 4X4. This is a crankcase evaporative filter that falls into the air box on my fresh engine. The system was poorly designed. And the paper filter made it worse. to the engine air filter box. No more oil and sludge in my air box or back into the throttle body intake manifold and gluing jobs. Run better and breathe better. The collection container is supplied with a drain valve. Several to choose from on Amazon.
