WIX Filters 49184 Corrugated Filter Review

This filter works perfectly for my automotive needs, providing excellent protection and ensuring my engine performs at its best. The corrugated design adds an extra layer of filtration, making it even more effective. However, the price may be a bit higher than other filters on the market.

Installed on my Chevy 3500 classic 6.6 07. I've always heard that Wix makes the best filters so I use their oil and fuel filters too. So far no problems

The filter was delivered by USPS on a rainy Sunday even though I live on a farm way out of town. It impressed me. The filter fitted snugly into the 07 Duramax diesel air box, but it was a bit risky to fit properly. Press a lot until it clicks into place. Ignore Revain's sizing software. It has been said (incorrectly) that Wix 49184 is not suitable, but it is not. The same software said a K&N RC 5179 would fit, but this filter was a few inches longer. The return cost me about €15.00.
