My analysis of this car filter showed that it's a great investment for those who want to improve their engine's performance. The installation process was a breeze and the filter fit perfectly. Wix manufacture an excellent quality oil filter. Unlike many competing and more well-known brands, Wix doesn't offer cardboard pads and tubes or inferior paper filter media. The silicone check valve prevents the oil from draining out of the filter when the engine is off, so you don't have a dry start which can be very damaging to your engine.
