still works. The only issue I had, like other reviewers, was that the plastic piece that fits into the oil filter to drain the oil didn't work. ended up making a huge mess. At some point I will probably go back to the OEM.

Good kit to replace the oil filter cartridge on my Lexus. I bought this along with the wrench as I've never done a Lexus before. Pretty easy job but a bit messy. Inserting a drain tip into the end is no easy task. I attached a hose to it going to the drain pan to try to minimize it. Somewhat successful on my first try. I would order this filter again.

I have no complaints about the filter or the rings - they fit my 2017 4Runner SR5 perfectly. The problem was that the oil filter cartridge nipple did NOT stay in place when draining and I had to manually push and hold my hand under the drain as it ran onto my hand so I could remove all the old oil from the cartridge. Maybe the next one will work - I hope so!
