This phone holder does the job and I'm confident my phone won't fall off while riding (I've used it a lot so far). My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that I can't get the tilt function to stay in place and I have to tilt the phone several times while driving as it slides off at a steeper angle than I'd like . . Maybe there is a setting I haven't found yet. But the magnet is very strong, the same brand I use to keep my phone in place in the car. That's what made me choose this brand.

I used this mount when I rented a motorcycle in the US. The original plan was to use it for my phone but as the bike already had a phone mount I used it to mount my power bank. I'm pretty sure it's not designed to handle such a thick, heavy object and in high winds over 430 miles in open wind (no windbreaker on the bike I had) at speeds up to 75mph keep. I have several Wixgear products and have always been happy with their reliability. I was riding this on my road bike (tarmac/tarmac) and hit a few bumps in the bridge (nothing too rough for a bike) and the plastic clamp ring on the back of the magnet broke and my phone fell onto the tarmac. Luckily my case saved the phone from a potential fall, but I was so disappointed that it broke from the slightest abuse. I can't imagine this lasting long on a motorcycle.

I initially buy 3 different Wixgear mounts for all my cars. I love them. The magnet is strong and very handy for getting on and off. Unfortunately they have lost the ball on this handlebar mount. I usually have a metal magnetic sticker on all my phones and ipads. The problem I've noticed with people is that they put a metal object inside the phone case, which is just stupid. What difference does it make if there's a small black piece of metal on the back of your phone case, if you're expecting a magnet to pull metal through your OtterBox you're crazy. This mount is definitely a good upgrade. I had a RAM mount and found it very good. However, when I upgraded to my Pixel 2, the power button was pressed with my hands. When I switched to this magnetic mount, I was blown away by the power of the magnet. If there's one complaint I had, it's that the groups were very small.
