Now we buy olive oil in bulk and have never got around to keeping a gallon bottle in our spice cabinet. This little guy solved that problem. Nice thick glass and the lid slides off the spout when you tilt it to pour and snaps back on when you put it back in place. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

I like that the oil pours out easily and in good volume (a couple of tablespoons does not pour out for a long time). but there are some drops on the side. It's not the most attractive oil bottle so I'm deducting a star for those 2 issues. but it works well and I like that it closes over the spout so it stays closed all the time.

I love this bottle. It was easy to pour, the lid is tight. It doesn't leak when I use it. I keep oil in. I like that it's easy to use. The lid moves easily and I don't have to take the lid off. This is a great shape that is easy to hold. I use a simple bottle brush to clean it. I plan on getting a few more for the vinegar like I do for other oils. It's beautiful in a simple way, which I like.

The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars out of 5 is the thickness of the bottle. The bottle is very light, so the glass is very thin and very fragile. My husband has a heavy hand and our countertops are tiled so I can imagine the bottle breaking when he puts it on the countertop. So to protect the bottom of the glass I bought a tin can that fits perfectly.

For many years I have used all kinds of oil dispensers without much success. Most are just a fancy bottle with a cheap dispenser that either breaks easily or is oil-free and leaks everywhere. The bottle is large, about twice the normal capacity of other bottles, so it lasts a decent amount of time. . The lid/dispenser closes tightly when screwed on, so that no oil can seep through. The nozzle itself has a tip that when you stop pouring oil and slowly straighten the bottle, WILL NOT BE A DRIP…

A little worried about the flimsy glass bottle, my wife was afraid one of the kids would break it. Turns out it broke just after I filled the bottle and put the cap back on the bottle. My best guess is that I overtightened the top. I left after filling the bottle and putting the cap back on the bottle. then maybe after a minute or so the lid came off and fell on the counter. When this happened, no one was near the bottle. Luckily only the glass threads broke as all the oil stayed in the bottle.
