The best device for people with a small physique!

I don't write reviews but this little thing solved my annoying problem and made me want to keep it. Some bike frames are smaller than the average person and leave a lot to be desired when it comes to water bottle space. My last frame didn't leave room for a water bottle on the seat tube. I had to pinch the water bottle to get it in the cage and it ripped the exploded bottle. Enter: This is a device. This lowered the cage enough that I didn't have to put it in again. Now it fits perfectlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great addition for long trips

It took me a while to figure out where to put the water bottles but so far I love them! I make longer trips (45+ miles) and the distance between water stops is sometimes longer than I like. I used most of the base for the bottom of the triangle and placed two water bottle holders there. NOTE: You can only fit 21oz bottles in the cages with this (had to order new ones because I was carrying 24oz bottles). The other base allowed me to move the parts bin over the seatpost to accommodate two newโ€ฆ

GOOD in general! Fixing screws BAD Torx included!

I recently bought this version of the problem solver at half price! ($9.95 vs. $19.95). So I figured it would be better as I didn't really like the little set screw on the old one to hold the adjustment in place. In general, the goods are GOOD! and it works for my needs (lower the bottle 1.5-2 inches) BUT the included torx? The screws were practically useless! The two shorter screws (needed to attach the bottle cage to the rail) had such a SHORT connection to my torx wrench that I could barelyโ€ฆ

Saved me a headache

My Poseidon X is more practical than I'd like and the down tube mounts are a little cumbersome to fit two sets of mounting bolts to the tube. This resulted in the lowest cage mount on the down tube being too low to allow room for mounting a bottle cage on the seat tube. I wanted to make my own stuff to move the cage's attachment points, but I stumbled upon it. A slot in the base of the seat tube to lower the cage mount, giving me more room on the top tube for larger bottles. Very very happyโ€ฆ

Made! on Hydration

This is an ingenious solution to the common problem of water bottle bolts making poor use of bike triangle space. I have a mountain bike whose water bottle holders are too high for me to fit a bag on the A-frame but still wastes a lot of space. I was able to use it to move one of my water bottles around and freed up space to store a spare hose between the bottles. One less item in your pockets. The mount was really easy to install and fit into a regular bottle cage. The only downside I canโ€ฆ

  • Very good value for money

great way to keep your mountain bike flexible

Great system. I have a Scott Genius with a single cage on the downtube and a seatpost which limits the size of the saddlebag (I don't want the saddlebag to be attached to the seatpost and risk damaging it). I also wanted something to use in enduro racing. It's an ingenious system. Really easy to install. I have found that on my bike the down tube is slightly curved at the bottom, preventing the base from sitting flat. This issue was solved by cutting the sticky pad in half and placing it underโ€ฆ

Premium Hydration

When my Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 seattube bottle cage conversion Shimano SM-BA01 Di2 battery bottle cage adapter broke I was looking for an alternative solution as I saw a weakness in the design that led to the breakage would lead to another rupture in the future. i found this Better. It's stronger. And it allowed me to position myself better on the frame of my huge bike. Quality at the highest level. I use it on the down tube to hold the mounting clip for my lightweight TIGR Mini titanium bikeโ€ฆ

Having trouble installing your Hailong? Here is your solution!

WARNING. I abused this product but it worked great! Frame and attached to the eyelets of the drinking bottle. My problem was that where the holes are on the frame, the battery doesn't fit in the correct orientation. I asked some people in the electric bike community for advice on what to do. There are methods of securing the new tabs to the frame with cable ties, cable ties, and nylon straps, but due to the added weight of this battery over a water bottle, I was concerned that they would slipโ€ฆ
