Oh NO! Check latest update on 10/30

I received the item today. I was skeptical about the quality on low light. I was wrong.As soon as I received it. I temporarily installed it. Clamp the mirror on the OEM one, glued the rear camera with double sided tape with the cable harness temporarily "floating", then connect the cigarette lighter power. I started driving around at 4PM, 5P, 6PM, & 9PM. Wow, I am impressed. I can drive at night with no issues. I will do the complete install next week once I get a chance. The only CONS I could…

Defective - update after replacement sent

Screen was noticeable dimmer on the right 1/3rd of the mirror, at all brightness settings and viewing angles. And this was while the car was in the garage, so sun glare was not a factor. Makes me question Wolfbox's quality control. It was an obvious touchscreen defect that managed to get shipped out.Returning for a replacement. I hope the next one is better.- - - - -Update:Replacement arrived quickly. Install was relatively simple if you've done a stereo install or basic car repair in the past.

Pretty good. Wish it was a little better

The install was a little harder than I was expecting as I had to remove the back paneling of CRV in order to mount camera outside. You probably want to research installing on your particular car beforehand. I do feel safer driving with no blind spots and like the idea. The few things that I wish were better. Everything seems further in the camera than what it really is which I figure allows for the wider view. Also do wish the frame rate per second and picture quality was better. It is good but

Really a five star product.

The only reason i must drop a star from the rating, is the overwrite loop feature has never worked for my unit. No matter what the setting is set to, every few days i need to manually format my SD Card to resume recording. This is detrimental in a situation where my SD Card fills up while the car is off, and I may miss out on some important footage. My only solution now is to buy a bigger SD Card, which i’ll still have to manually wipe, just not as often. Besides this, very solid product, would

Added this to a 2006 Subaru Legacy as the head unit cannot be updated.

Put this in my 15 year olds teaching car to help him learn how to backup and show him how he's driving as they like to argue about how they drive while teaching them.It would absolutely be five stars but I have a couple of recommendations.Matte the screen. Can't really use it when it's really bright outside and adjust the iris on the back camera for better night driving. Aside from that, this is a great device! difficult to use during daytime

I would have liked to like this product more. build is good, and the cameras are good. The 2 main downsides of the product are: 1. the aspect ratio of the camera is a bit problematic. when backing up you want to see both close up and farther away. this works better with a screen that is not so wide and low. maybe I could have installed the camera better but it seems almost inherit to this type of screen. Finaly I diconcted the mirror from the break light (auto switches to low end of camera) and

Not bad, but has one deficiency

I should have been more careful in purchasing this device, because even though it’s a great dash cam it has a deficiency which will drive you crazy.This dash cam does not have bluetooth or WiFi, so any videos cannot easily transfer to your iPhone. You have to physically remove the SD-card and put it in a computer (Mac or PC), using their app to grab the video. Then you can send it to the police or insurance company. It’s not user friendly.Setting that aside, it’s a great dashcam. It fits easily

Love this! on my review.

Seems to be a great product especially for the price! I also bought the hardwire kit and the bolt on mount (replacing the factory mirror mount) and couldn’t be happier. I bought the 3 yr warranty just to be cautious. The mirror works great with the unit off, I can still perfectly see out my back window.I would highly recommend this for Jeep owners or people with lifted vehicles. Wish I had one of these back in the day for all my lifted trucks.

Amazingly good in my review

Camera is very good, rear camera cable length is nearly 25 ft, I was able to get it all the way back to my 29' RV from driver seat but needed bit more so I had to order the 50 ft cable for $20. For most trucks including MB Sprinter type vans the 25ft cable it comes with would be enough to reach the back for rear camera.I wrote a somewhat poor review but correcting it now. Due to the aspect ratio of the screen, it will appear like the camera is capturing the sky and the camera does not pivot…

Working well after a couple of months

This rear-view camera system worked well out of the box to replace another that had lost it's monitor signal. I find that the time is always set to another time zone and after changing it to our time zone - followed by turning it off in the garage, it reverts to the original and needs re-set each time. That is a bit frustrating. The speed from the GPS is exactly the same as my Garmin Nuvi and both are off a bit from the speedometer in my Subaru Outback. I trust the Garmin and this system more…
