Wolo BA 107 Pro Tec Commercial Back Up Review

I have always fitted this to all my vehicles and think it should be a must have for pickup trucks and larger units. While most people get scared and some yell at you. These same people just walk around with their heads held high and it certainly gets their attention and believe me it works.

It was easy to install - put it under the back of the car and run the wire to the reverse light. Running or driving my golf cart behind the car if it sounds like I'm backing up. Mixed reactions - some know the car is reversing - some think it's a signal to position yourself directly behind the car, others see it as a warning to see if they can get through before the car leaves space leaves. Overall - I would take another one, it's a good idea.

Excellent reversing alarm. I put mine on the switch so as not to disturb the neighbors when I'm not in an area that requires the use of an alarm, but when it's on it sounds nice and loud. This is a lightweight and easy to install alarm that has held up well to the weather so far. I installed it under the rear bumper of my truck and it has seen rain, ice and snow with no complaints. Unit looks solid and well built. I pull out of a dead end and am always amazed at how many people follow a car backwards even though they know (or should know) they can't be seen. The only criticism is that the device is too loud for use in a residential area. If it had a volume control that would be really cool. Much more suitable for construction than the area. I'll see if the neighbors complain. What I think? You will either complain or hold a grudge. I should probably tone it down a bit.

I bought this because I wanted others to know I was making a backup. Worked well for 2 months. One day it just stopped working. It didn't rain or snow that day and I had a cover under my rear bumper to protect it from the elements.
