Wolo Hawkeye 3000-A LED Rotating & Flashing Emergency Warning Light - Amber Lens - Clear LEDs, Magnet Mount Review

I use this lantern as a rural postman in my own car. I love that you can customize the strobe function with 5 lighting modes to choose from. As with most of these lights, my only complaint is that the 10-foot cord isn't as long as it should be, but that's okay. The light isn't as big as some but the magnetic mount works great on my roof and is very secure. I find that the lifespan of this light far exceeds that of non-LED lights.

We use this light for our COP program in the area. decent quality. Was abandoned and still works. The cable does have to be pulled to get from the car roof to the accessory socket, but a magnet keeps it in place. LEDs with multiple flashes. Doesn't have what looks like a spinning light, but that's okay. It is clearly visible at long distances in the dark, but not very well in daylight. Again, don't dig deals. Used by multiple people and requires some abuse. Worth the money so far.

I expected professional quality from Wolo and it certainly lives up to those expectations. a volunteer firefighter and this was purchased when my POV will be used to block traffic or be parked on the side of a freeway in the event of an accident. The more light the better to avoid being hit by motorists driving through the scene. The cord is long enough, the connector is well made, and attaching it to the vinyl-covered magnetic base is as easy as sticking it where you want it.

There is 10ft twisted pair cord available but you can't pull this cord 10ft from the light and leave it plugged into the cigarette lighter. The most comfortable distance would be 5 feet. I mounted the light on the very edge of my car roof and can still leave the cord in the cigarette lighter in the center of the car. So if you have a pickup truck or SUV, this would be next to impossible without the extension. The light is too small with a very bright orange screen, so not very noticeable during

The light is exactly as advertised. Arrived quickly, works well. Unfortunately, it's really not very bright. Everything is fine in the dark, but it's hard to see on a sunny day. I regularly volunteer in parking lots (checking people in and out for special events). I find the yellow light on the roof helps project "authority" - (oh I'll be in and out in a minute!) I bought this for my golf cart to be seen better on the roads. I'm much more comfortable with my visibility with this flash than with the little orange triangular flag. My friends say they can see me when they go to the golf course and they can see me very well. I bought a cheaper flashlight but it broke almost immediately.
