Wife Loves It, But in my review

Update: within hours of leaving this review I found my wife having to sew the pockets back onto the robe. She only washed it once upon receiving it. She doesn't place anything in the pockets.My wife found this and asked me to order it for her. She loves the robe. The fit is very good and the robe itself is nice and soft.

Not absorbent at all

My wife has been using it for 2/3 weeks to see but wearing for 5 mins after the shower and I’m still very wet.Very disappointedWish I could return it

Average bathrobe, not exactly what I expected.

This runs on the smaller side. I was disappointed it did not have ties on the inside to help keep it closed better. It will do the job but is a bit cheap looking material wise. I got a different brand for my husband that’s the same material and his was only $5 more than this one and much better quality. However, it is a nice light weight bathrobe and has pockets which is a plus. Overall, would give this a 3.5-4 star.

Not lightweight - super heavy!

I purchased the yellow option and this is definitely NOT a lightweight robe. It’s very thick and does not work well as a "towel robe”. It’s like drying off with one of those static cleaning cloths. Despite that, it works well as a cozy robe and it washed well with no fuzzies transferring to other clothes.

I've learned ropes are impossible to buy online

I bought this robe because I'm much prefer the slightly scratchy terry cloth towel feeling to the tightly woven fabric that just makes it feel like it's holding water on your body. This fits well and absorbs water okay perhaps after a few washes it will be better. I removed a star only because it's quite thin and doesn't have a luxury feel of a thicker heavier robe it just feels like the cheapest of towels.

It’s absorbent and comfortable

It’s lighter than I expected but actually is a great weight. It fits the way I like it, roomy.It’s absorbent and comfortable. The yellow puts me in a good mood.Medium was a good size for me.

Not made out of cotton Terry cloth

I was hoping this was made out of cotton Terry Cloth but unfortunately it is made out of a microfiber type material. Otherwise it is a good bathrobe.

Beautiful color., and soft. I got the pink.

I liked the color of the pink, the lightness of weight and the softness. However I had to send the first 2 robes back because on one, the top was larger on one side, and on the second, the seams at the shoulders were sewn in unevenly. I kept the third one but it came crushed with deep creases all over.I spent a lot of time trying to press out the creases with steam heat and it looks somewhat better, but the creases will always show. A great, comfy robe, perfect for southern California climates at a great price!

There should also be a ‘color’ option for review here as well, which, my overall review will take into consideration. Since this was a gift for a family member, I am commenting on their behalf and after their input with regards to the rating system in place.The yellow color option was chosen by the gift recipient and couldn’t be happier with it. Close to what was advertised for this item, but not quite.

Still trying to decide if I am happy the robe. Color is a lovely blue. Came close to returning it the day it was delivered, but since I really needed a new robe, decided to give it a try. Will put in washing machine and dryer soon, just to test if that might help make it more comfortable. Not too big really, nor too small.
