Stone in center appears to be plastic

The ring is very pretty and ornate. However it is important to know that the ring stone in the center appears to be some type of glue product it does not appear to be a real stone and it is not set onto the ring and there are no prongs.The center of the cross holds the blue stone. The stone itself is cloudy and has no shine. I would strongly suggest that this ring go back for a redesign. With a more sparkly and genuine looking stone.
