The device appears to be fairly accurate, or at least consistent. I don't have anything to support the display, but it's close enough that my mug might tip over.

I have a bunch of different stacks of ammo that are drying out before separating, and sometimes I can't figure out which stack was seasoned next. I bought this moisture meter to check moisture levels in wood. I've also used it to check the moisture on a freshly washed deck before painting it. I was very impressed. I really appreciate the backlit display and HUGE digital display of humidity level. I like that there is a beep when the wood is in the "wet" category.
